Back in print for the first time since the early seventies! It was
published in hardcover and paperback, and returned to the
original pagination of the first edition. The most important new feature,
besides the handsome new cover, is an introduction by Thomas Pynchon which
reveals some important new facts and perspectives on Richard. Pynchon's
essay probably helped to solidify Farina's literary reputation and
attracted new readers. The essay also appeared in Cornell Alumni
News around the same time.
