Another dulcimer songbook by Neal and Sally Hellman. This one was actually published before The Richard Fariņa Dulcimer Book. It has the following items which may be of interest to Fariņa fans:

• A slightly different arrangement of "Miles." This one is in 4/4 rather than 3/4 and is arranged for dulcimers with the extra 7th fret.

• A slightly different arrangement of "Dandelion River Run." Once again, this is arranged for dulcimers with the extra 7th fret.

• A different arrangement of "Tuileries."

• "Carry it On," the Gil Turner song, as played by Fariņa on Judy Collins' Fifth Album.

• This book also includes illustrations to each of the four songs listed above. They're different from the ones in The Richard Fariņa Dulcimer Book; these are by Jude and Verna (no last names given). So if you're collecting Fariņa-related art (and who isn't?), you might want to check out this book.

An extra, un-Fariņa-related bonus of this book is that contains two of my very favorite folksongs, "Cruel Sister" and "Leatherwing Bat."
